Galapagos scholars develop skills such as research, debate, negotiation and public speaking as they advocate for topics related to nuclear disarmament, human rights and environmental standards.
Scholars will participate in three off-site UN conferences and two remote conferences. In these conferences, they will represent different countries and advocate for the policy position that their country would likely take.
The team meets on Mondays and Tuesdays, from 4 pm until 5:10 pm, beginning September 30 at the UA. (The off-site conferences will be announced soon and do require an additional payment.)
After School Snack is provided.
